Rocco Petrilli
Rocco Petrilli has made a career of establishing, launching, and managing businesses in the automotive components manufacturing and commercial business arena. Following a successful 23+ year career as both an engineer and a businessman, Rocco, in the establishment of
PRIMA Business
Specialists, LLC, turned his attention to the full application of this experience to the needs of all business owners who are dealing with problems without ready solutions.
Since forming PRIMA in 2006, Petrilli has led several successful merger, acquisition and divestiture efforts for his clients in the automotive, industrial, machine tool, ecommerce and intelligent security systems, disaster restoration and defense technology industries. In addition, he has served as an interim executive in the roles of CEO, COO, CTO and VP of Business Development for start up and turn around efforts in these industries as well as the advanced technology arenas of medical devices, non-contact ultrasound, advanced materials and processes and alternative energy development and delivery. An accomplished negotiator possessing a high affinity for strategy development and execution, he has successfully included engagements ranging from business creation and enterprise value creation and funding to debt reduction and shareholder dispute resolution.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Sinterstahl Corporation and Sinterstahl Corporation - Powertrain, Rocco led the successful
Greenfield automotive manufacturing business development and start-up of the company's Pennsylvania location, as well as acquisition of the firm's Ohio location. He served on the board of directors of both companies.
As an inaugural member of the Global Management Board of PMG, which was formed in December 2005 through a merger between Sinterstahl GmbH and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, Rocco played a very active role in planning and execution of the merger.
Other senior executive management assignments included Borg Warner Automotive, Federal Mogul, and Engineered Materials Corporation, where he lead the areas of strategy development, customer and market development, substantial business growth, business start up, business acquisition and business operation. Rocco has also created, owned, operated and sold several small businesses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and remains an active partner in West Wash, Inc. which operates a food franchise in northwestern Pennsylvania as well as several other smaller concerns.
He earned a BSc. In Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and served numerous boards governing businesses, trade association and industry consortium activities. |
